When he couldn't afford to hire a studio to record his band in, Joey Santos decided to start his own. Little did he know he'd go from learning how to record music on his PC, to running one of the most successful recording studios in his home city of Manila. He helped scores of bands get their music out to the world, and worked on soundtracks and TV music too.
But that was only half of the story. In this episode of Tales From The Dancefloor, Joey shares how the studio life turned out very differently to how he had imagined, how he hit rock bottom with his creativity AND with his landlord, and how his climb back up led him to writing, video making, training people to make music... and falling back in love with making it himself.
